NFL's Vax Policy Has DeAndre Hopkins Questioning His Future In The League

With news surfacing that the NFL plans to punish teams with positive Covid tests, NFL superstars are beginning to push back. Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins appears less than thrilled with the league's stance. So much so that he's questioning his NFL future. And he's not alone.

Hopkins has since deleted his tweet, but not before the comment received more than 6,000 likes and another 4,000 retweets in less than half an hour.

Though his tweet didn't go into detail, it's clear Hopkins has an issue with being forced to inject something into his body or risk his team being punished. Retired quarterback Derek Anderson had no problem bashing the league's policy:

Those opposing the NFL's vaccine stance weren't limited to the offensive side of the ball. Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon sent a tweet that left little room for interpretation:

Meanwhile, Rams defensive back Jalen Ramsey is standing by those teammates who choose against getting vaccinated:

The league had no problem backing players who made the individual choice to kneel for the National Anthem. Hell, the tv broadcasts even had dedicated cameras focused on those players choosing to take a knee. Now they're punishing players who are making an individual choice to refrain from receiving a vaccination.

With training camps opening across the league, the NFL is in the midst of a shit storm. And they're going to need a bigger umbrella.
