NFL 'Top 100' Unveils 10 Best Players, Including Brady, Mahomes And Rodgers
The final ten spots were revealed on the NFL's end of season Top 100 list; featuring two defensive players, five quarterbacks and three pass catchers.
Beating out the 2021 NFL MVP, along with the league's best defensive player since Lawrence Taylor, for the top spot was Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The 25-year-old QB reached the top of the list for the first time in his unbelievable four-year career that has already earned Mahomes the fattest contract in NFL history, along with a Super Bowl LIV win.
Last season, Mahomes threw for 38 touchdowns, six interceptions and over 4,700 passing yards — while also accomplishing career highs in passing attempts, completions, overall passing percentage and rushing yards. Kansas City returned to the Super Bowl stage last season to face off against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team led by the Top 100's No. 7 player, Tom Brady.
Mahomes and the Chiefs fell to the Bucs, 31-9.
