NFL Offseason Outlook: 29 Free Agents To Highlight Busy Upcoming Offseason For Titans
The 2020 Tennessee Titans accomplished a number of their goals this past season, going 11-5 and taking home the AFC South title.
The team fell in the AFC Wild Card game to the Baltimore Ravens, ending their season short of their ultimate goal of reaching the Super Bowl.
The team enters the 2021 offseason with a lot of player decisions to make, as the club has a whopping 29 unrestricted and restricted free agents on the roster.
The two biggest offensive stars of the team, running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, are locked up, which is huge.
While those two players are key moving forward, the club’s key free agents this offseason include tight end Jonu Smith, linebacker Jadeveon Clowney and wide out Corey Davis.
It’s going to be tough for the Titans, who currently are $7.89 million over the cap, to bring back even two of those players to be the foundation for the future.

Offseason Outlook: One area that the Titans will need to upgrade in 2021 is the pass rush.
Last season, the club wrapped up the season with a pathetic 19 sacks, the third-fewest in the NFL and tied for the fewest for a playoff team in a 16-game season in league history.
It’s an area that GM Jon Robinson will have to address right away. Too often in 2020, opposing quarterbacks had way too much time in the pocket, and getting more sacks is something the team needs to do in 2021 to be successful.
Jadeveon Clowney, if healthy, is a player who can help get to the passer, but last season, he was hurt and suited up for only eight games.
Davis is a player who showed some star qualities at the wide out spot, and Robinson and Coach Mike Vrabel would love to keep him in the fold.
With their current cap status and all the things they have to address with their 29 free agents, the offseason is sure to be a busy one for the Titans. They now look to build on two successful seasons in which they reached the postseason.
