Next Stop, Dallas? JuJu Smith-Schuster Talks Up Cowboys
Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster won't be a free agent until March, but he already sounds like someone who's decided on his next team.
Smith-Schuster raved about the Dallas Cowboys' facility and quarterback Dak Prescott as part of a marketing event for 7-Eleven on Wednesday.
“It’s unbeatable,” Smith-Schuster said of the Cowboys' practice facility, per The Dallas Morning News. “The Steelers are still working on trying to get out of the wooden locker rooms. And over here, it’s very prestige."
Smith-Schuster, who's spent his entire five-year career with Pittsburgh, wasn't shy about letting the Steelers know their facility doesn't compare. "Oh, they’ll definitely hear this," added Smith-Schuster. "I want them (the Steelers) to hear this.”
Smith-Schuster, 25, who appeared in just five games this season because of a shoulder injury, isn't just a fan of the Dallas' facility, he likes their QB too.
“(Prescott)'s a great quarterback,” Smith-Schuster told The Dallas Morning News. “Catching balls from him in a facility like this, I wouldn’t mind it. He has some good guys around him, a great team, a great organization. So you never know.”
Barring some unforeseen circumstance, Smith-Schuster will become an unrestricted free agent on March 16th. Could a big check from Big D await?
