New Texans Coach David Culley Not Speaking About Ongoing Deshaun Watson Lawsuits

New Houston Texans coach David Culley is keeping quiet, not giving any comments about franchise QB Deshaun Watson and his 23 lawsuits filed against the QB.

Culley spoke Saturday about Watson, but kept his comments very low key and basically hush-hush about what is going on for the Texans QB.

"We have nothing to say about that situation at this time," Culley said on Saturday.

" Cal [McNair] and ownership a few weeks back indicated about how our organization feels about the situation. I think when Nick [Caserio] was on not long ago, he also mentioned that the legal process was in effect right now and we're going to respect that and go from there."

It was the first presser that was called since the 23 lawsuits were filed, and Culley would not comment if he feels that Watson will be a part of the team's upcoming offseason workouts.

OTA's are slated to start on May 24th for Houston, but attendance is voluntary until the team's mandatory minicamp starts up on June 15th.

"He is our quarterback," Culley said in March.

"He's the only guy we got under contract at this time, right now."

There's no doubt that Watson is the best QB on the Texans roster, but the question will be will he step up and start to chat about the ongoing lawsuits and situations with the Houston roster.

Watson is currently facing 22 lawsuits that allege sexual assault and inappropriate behavior that took place from March 2020 to March 2021.

Culley was speaking for the first time since the first lawsuit was filed against Watson on March 16.
