Never Steal Another Man's Towel
While the Saints were jogging off the field after another dud of a drive during last night's Monday night showdown, Dolphins defensive end Christian Wilkins grabbed Alvin Kamara's towel. And because it's the NFL where players can't celebrate or even look another player's direction without a flag, a 15-yard penalty ensued -- Go figure.
Wilkins, however, wasn't the instigator as you can see Kamara shove Wilkins just before the theft. So while you never touch a man's towel, we call this fair game and objectively entertaining. They really need to start letting these guys get back to trolling and hitting on the gridiron.
The broadcast wasn't too thrilled since there was a football game in progress, but Twitter loved it. Hell, we loved it.
Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins would go on to defeat the Saints candidly 20-3 for their seventh-straight victory. They still sit behind Buffalo and New England in the AFC East, but let's cut the Dolphins and Wilkins some slack because this season of stressing on covid and injuries is too grim not to mess around a bit. More hitting and goof offs on the football field, please!
