Mock Aaron Rodgers' Belt Celebration At Your Own Risk

Shoot some love pistols in the direction of Don Majkowski, flex on Matt Flynn, hell, do the Cupid Shuffle over Jordan Love’s 6’4” frame. But don’t under any circumstances, mock current Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The league’s reigning MVP proved once again on Sunday that if you aim at the king, you best not miss.

Bears edge rusher Robert Quinn learned that first-hand in Chicago’s 45-30 loss.

Quinn sacked Rodgers early Sunday evening in what was then a scoreless game. Upon sending Rodgers to the turf, Quinn popped up and mocked the QB by doing his signature Discount Double-Check move. Tsk tsk. Shots fired.

Rodgers noticed Quinn’s premature celebration and responded the only way he knows how – by firing off some bullets of his own, to the tune of 341 passing yards and four touchdowns.

Rodgers got the last laugh in the end, as he has so many times before. As he said following the game, opposing teams mocking him “hasn’t ended well for the most part.”

He then added, “Imitation is the highest form of flattery.”

Receiver Davante Adams, who was on the receiving end of 10 Rodgers completions and two touchdowns, chimed in Monday afternoon via Twitter, asking: “Question….when has mocking the belt ever worked out well?? Lol.”

Adams has a point. Plenty of defenders are gunning for Rodgers, but few, if any, have enough ammo to hit the target consistently.
