Mitchell Trubisky Throws An Engagement Ring On Hillary Gallagher's Finger

Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky pulled the trigger Tuesday and threw an engagement ring on the hand of his girlfriend Hillary Gallagher. Trubisky, who completed a career-high 67% of his passes in 2020 (yes, he played in just 10 games) got down on one knee at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida with cameras rolling and popped the question to his longtime girlfriend.

"Can’t wait to spend forever with my soulmate," Gallagher wrote on Instagram after receiving the ring.

As of January 10, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, it appeared unlikely the Trubiskys will be calling Chicago home after their wedding. His fifth-year option was declined and he was benched in 2020 for Nick Foles. He was 3-1 in December and found himself in a playoff game -- a 21-9 loss to the Saints -- but it might not be enough to keep him in the Windy City.

But it's officially engagement vacation season for Mitchell and Hillary. Time to show off the ring and start wedding planning. It's also time for the potential bridesmaids to get their resumes together. Good luck, ladies.
