Mike Zimmer's Maxim Model Girlfriend Has Words For Ex-Vikings GM Rick Spielman

Former Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer's Maxim model girlfriend Katarina Miketin doesn't appreciate ex-Vikings GM Rick Spielman going on a media tour and deflecting blame for how things ended for both men in Minnesota.

During an interview with Colin Cowherd, Spielman mentioned that a head coach "has to have a relationship" with the team's quarterback and hinted that a former defensive coordinator (as Zimmer was) doesn't have as deep of a relationship with a quarterback as an offensive coordinator would.

And that set off Miketin, who has appeared on the cover of Maxim Australia.

“What about the GM having a relationship with the organization?” Katarina fired back. “Not talking to your coach for three months? Rick, Back-peddling and ‘spin’ have always been your ‘game’. You should be embarrassed by your media blitz of, ‘it wasn’t my fault.'”

Mike's girlfriend, who says she has an MBA from Northwestern, wasn't finished. When a troll, who called the Maxim model a "blonde bimbo," suggested Zimmer and Spielman didn't try to talk to each other, Katarina was prepared.

"Nope. The coach did. But when your boss won't talk to you...and isn't in the building," she explained.

Katarina has been wholeheartedly focused on setting the record straight on what went wrong in Minnesota, and she's not about to let Spielman re-write history. During a mid-January appearance on "Move the Sticks" podcast, Miketin was fired up over the ex-GM's refusal to talk to her boyfriend.

"Rick, How can you build a team when you refuse to talk to the coach and don’t show up?" Katarina tweeted. "You talk a lot to everyone else, just not the ones who mattered when the organization needed unity. YOU caused separation. Your gossip needs to stop. Let’s talk facts."

What's next for Zimmer, 65, and his NFL career? Is he even interested in leaving Minneapolis-St. Paul where Katarina's based? Mike's buyout is reportedly in the $15 million range and that sure is a nice nest egg to live off of while your model girlfriend chases her dreams and sunsets.
