Marshon Lattimore Arrested In Cleveland On Suspicion Of Receiving Stolen Property

The New Orleans Saints have already been dealing with severe cap space issues this offseason. Now they've got another issue entirely.

Star cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested in Cleveland on Thursday night on suspicion of receiving stolen property. That news was first reported by Adam Ferrise of Cleveland.com, and several other outlets have since picked it up.

Lattimore was booked into the Cuyahoga County Jail, but it should be noted that he hasn't been formally charged -- at least not yet.

The Saints selected Lattimore as the No. 11 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He grew up in Cleveland and played college ball at Ohio State, so it's no surprise that he was back in the area.

New Orleans released Janoris Jenkins earlier this offseason in attempt to get under the $182.5 million cap limit, so they already needed cornerback help. Now that Lattimore's status with the team may be in jeopardy, that need has only gotten stronger.
