Lamar Jackson Keeps Learning, Winning

Coming into the 2020 season, Lamar Jackson had only played in two playoff games. The Baltimore Ravens lost both of them, and there was already this growing belief that Jackson couldn't perform in the postseason.

Well, Jackson proved them wrong last weekend against the Tennessee Titans. Not only did the Ravens get a 20-13 victory, the third-year quarterback also had a huge part in it.

No, the production through the air wasn't anything to write home about. He completed 17 of his 24 attempts (70.8 percent) for 179 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. But there were a few throws that reminded people about Jackson's ability as a passer.

There were also the game-changing plays with his legs. He rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown, including this 48-yard score in the second quarter to tie the game at 10-10:

Jackson has the respect of his teammates, and that was made clear in a recent article from Clifton Brown on the Baltimore Raven's official website. It is definitely a piece worth reading, but this quote from offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman sums things up nicely:

That's high praise for Jackson.

Have there been a few slumps in there? Absolutely, but there's no denying that the Louisville product is growing, both as a player and as a leader. He is absolutely the right man for the job.
