Jimmy Garappolo Out With Ankle Injury

Jimmy Garoppolo is out for the rest of today's game versus the New York Jets with a right ankle injury, the 49ers announced.

In the first half, Garoppolo got sacked by Quinnen Williams and while he remained in the game for a time, he was favoring his ankle.

Nick Mullens is in the game at quarterback for San Francisco.

The 49ers have been absolutely ravaged by injuries this afternoon -- they have also lost defensive stalwarts Solomon Thomas and Nick Bosa.
