Jalen Hurts Named Eagles’ Starting QB
Doug Pederson has named Jalen Hurts the Philadelphia Eagles' new starting quarterback. According to Chris Mortensen, Hurts will start Sunday vs. the New Orleans Saints. Carson Wentz will move to QB No. 2.
Sunday against Green Bay, Hurts took over for Wentz, who had another dismal performance. Hurts went 5-12, with one touchdown and one interception.
Before the game, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported that Wentz was on a “short leash." He added that sources believe Wentz lost confidence after the Eagles drafted Hurts in the second round, which then led to his poor season.
This Sunday could be Jalen Hurts vs. Taysom Hill. Just as we expected before the season...
