Get His Football Pants: Rob Gronkowski Returning In 2021
You may have seen the commercial where Rob Gronkowski tells Tom Brady that he should definitely retire -- but a bad connection leads Brady to think not only that Gronkowski has told him to keep playing, but that Gronkowski should join him.
Then, much to Gronkowski's surprise, Brady announces at a press conference that he will play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that Gronkowski will join him.
It's a funny bit that still airs, even after the Buccaneers' Super Bowl LV victory, a game in which Gronkowski caught two touchdown passes.
Well, guess what? They should come up with a new version of the commercial because, like Brady, Gronkowski is returning.
"I'm back, man!" Gronk told TMZ Sports. "I will be back playing football, man. I love the game of football. I loved playing last year. I had a great time."
Clearly, the future Hall of Famer is excited about what's ahead. He's already started training for 2021, just a month after finishing on top yet again.
"Let me tell you, I was a little bit sore first day of training, but it bounced back like that," he told TMZ. "I'm feeling good."
So, hey mom, Gronkowski is gonna need his football pants.
