DT Ndamukong Suh, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Agree To One-Year Pact
The Bucs' Super Bowl winning defense got a little stronger on Wednesday, as the club and DT Ndamukong Suh are set to finalize a one-year deal.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the first to report the agreement, says that the one-year pact for Suh and the Bucs could be worth up to $10 million.
The 34-year-old played in all 16 games last season for the Super Bowl champs. He ended the season with six sacks and a total of 44 tackles.
Like the rest of his teammates, Suh had a solid afternoon in the Super Bowl. He recorded 1.5 sacks.
“My goal is to come back and have an opportunity to go win another championship,” the defensive lineman told SI’s Albert Breer earlier in the offseason.
Suh signed a one-year deal with the Rams in 2019. His NFL career includes stints with the Rams, Dolphins and the Lions.
The Bucs have done an excellent job since the start of free agency,
