Devin Bush Working Towards A Full Return In 2021

Pittsburgh Steelers middle linebacker Devin Bush is working his way back from a torn ACL suffered during a regular season win over the Browns at Heinz Field, and now he should soon “be cleared to fully practice right away” and return for the 2021 season.

Bush played in just five games before suffering the injury making a tackle against the Browns. He's been working hard this offseason to get his way back to playing and being back in the starting lineup this upcoming season.

Bush was an up and coming young star before the injury, as he played each and every snap for the Steelers before he got hurt.

He put up 26 tackles and one sack. In his rookie season, Bush collected 109 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and four fumble recoveries.

At just 23 years old, Bush should be able to be close to 100 percent when the season kicks off for the Steelers in Buffalo in September.

Right now, Bush is penciled in to be a starter at the linebacker spot as is Robert Spillane, who stepped in for Bush last season.

The Steelers defense took a massive hit after losing Bush, and then in the team's 11th win over the Ravens, the club lost fellow linebacker Bud Dupree for the rest of the season.

The injuries cost the Steelers, and they were bounced from the playoffs in the Wild Card round by the rival Browns at Heinz Field.
