Deshaun Watson Hit With Another Lawsuit From A Different Massage Therapist
Deshaun Watson, who was slapped with a sexual assault allegation lawsuit earlier this week, has been hit with another allegation from a different massage therapist who says she was asked to focus on a specific area, according to the lawsuit obtained by OutKick.
This incident allegedly took place August 28, 2020 at the Houstonian Hotel Club and Spa where Watson allegedly told the plaintiff he had his own suite. He had flown the massage therapist in from Atlanta after making contact with her on Instagram via direct message.
The complaint states that before scheduling the session, the Texans quarterback made it clear he specifically wanted to "focus on his glutes and his groin area and asked if she was comfortable with working on those areas."
The two came to terms, and the woman got on the flight in August.
According to the complaint filed in Harris County, Texas:
"Plaintiff and Watson met at the hotel. Watson immediately got completely nude and got on the massage table with his penis completely exposed. Plaintiff firmly told Watson that he needed to use a towel to cover himself as that was the appropriate way of conducting a professional massage. Watson refused. Watson told her he 'gets hot easily' and for that reason he wanted to remain completely nude. Plaintiff tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but started to think something was off as this is not how she did massages and clients are supposed to be covered.
"Soon after, Watson kept aggressively redirecting Plaintiff towards his anus. Watson asked Plaintiff to use more and more oil on his anus."
The woman claims she wasn't comfortable, but she didn't want to lose the business and the money, so she went along with the request.
The lawsuit alleges Watson "got more aggressive" in asking the woman to go towards his penis. "It was at this point that Watson moved in her direction, causing Plaintiff's hand to touch Watson's genitals. Watson then flipped over onto his back, with his penis completely exposed."
The woman says she stopped the massage and said she was leaving. The complaint states Watson allegedly reached back out to the woman "some months later," saying he was in Atlanta and asked if she would be available.
The woman is now asking for minimal compensation for damages, saying she has suffered mental anguish, panic attacks, depression and anxiety. She's also seeking counseling.
Anthony Buzbee, the lawyer for the massage therapist in the first lawsuit, is representing the woman in this case as well. It's been noted by many that Buzbee was a neighbor of the late former Texans owner Bob McNair.
Watson has yet to respond to this second massage therapist case, but he did issue a statement earlier this week when the first allegation was made.
“As a result of a social media post by a publicity-seeking plantiff’s lawyer, I recently became aware of a lawsuit that has apparently been filed against me,” Watson shared on Twitter. “I have not yet seen the complaint, but I know this: I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect. The plaintiff’s lawyer claims that this isn’t about money, but before filing suit he made a baseless six-figure settlement demand, which I quickly rejected. Unlike him, this isn’t about money for me – it’s about clearing my name, and I look forward to doing that.”
