Denver Broncos Have Seven Picks In The 2021 NFL Draft To Try And Fill Their Voids

The Denver Broncos (5-11-0 in 2020), sit with the 9th overall pick in this Thursday's upcoming NFL Draft with a chance to make a big impact. They could even pick a quarterback to backup, start ahead, or challenge current starter Drew Locke for playing time.

The Broncos' first round picks the last five years have been all over the place:

The team drafted failed quarterback Paxton Lynch (looking for a job in the NFL, last seen with the Steelers) and breakout star offensive tackle Garett Bolles, who inked a four-year, $68 million contract extension with the Broncos.

OLB Bradley Chubb has been very good, tight end Noah Fant had 62 catches last season for 673 yards and three scores, and wide out Jerry Jeudy showed a ton of promise as a rookie, catching 52 passes for 856 yards and three scores.

The needs remain the same - quarterback, right tackle and running back. The team will have seven picks to fill those needs.
