COVID Hits Miami, Rookie Receiver Jaylen Waddle
The COVID bug just bit in Miami on Dolphins rookie receiver Jaylen Waddle. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported this morning that the team has placed the no. 6 overall pick on reserve. The fact that we're still talking covid is an abomination.
Despite the current spike in cases, talking heads at ESPN, CNN, and MSNBC can't seem to ask the right questions. Of course we know they're hired and on salary because of that freakish ability to stay misinformed, but at this point, the vaccine looks like a colossal failure to even the most simple minded. Majority of the NFL and NHL were vaccinated going into the season and now cases are north of where they were at any point last year with no available vaccine? I feel like we called this, no?
And yes, there's an argument for the seriousness of cases diminishing, however the players, no matter their vaccination status, are still expected to miss games. The unvaccinated, like Aaron Rodgers, were treated like they were the only players that could kill grandma while vaccinated shills were heroes stopping the covid train in its tracks.
Hopefully this latest surge in cases opens some eyeballs as to what's really at work here. And as for the Dolphins, Waddles exit from action stings considering they're sitting just a game out an AFC wildcard birth.
Waddle has reeled in 86 catches on 849 yards with four touchdowns on the year. Not ideal missing that...
