Cleveland Browns Visit With Pass Rusher Jadeveon Clowney

The Cleveland Browns continue upgrading their defense this offseason, chatting with players who could come to the team via free agency.

One such player is free agent edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney, who according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, sat down with the Browns but left Cleveland without a deal.

Last season, Clowney ended up playing for the Tennessee Titans. He was sidelined with a knee injury for half the season, but when he did play, he put up 19 tackles and no sacks.

It's not the first time the Browns have had interest in Clowney, as reports say the two sides spoke last year before Clowney inked with the Titans.

The 28-year-old Clowney made three consecutive Pro Bowls between 2016-18, but he has not been the same player the last two seasons. He recorded just three sacks in his last 21 games, split between the Seattle Seahawks and Titans.

Whoever Cleveland does bring in to help on the edge rush will team up with former first overall pick Myles Garrett, who is coming off another solid year on Cleveland's defense.
