Bucs Re-Sign Antonio Brown, Getting The Full Band Back Together

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV in dominant fashion, and now the Bucs are looking to run it back -- or "go for two," in the words of Bruce Arians.

On Wednesday morning, they re-signed yet another piece who can help them in that cause.

According to Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, Tampa Bay reached a new one-year contract with wide receiver Antonio Brown. It will include $3.1 million guaranteed and could be worth up to $6.25 million.

I don't know how they got it done, but the Bucs have now brought back every significant free agent that hit the market this year: Chris Godwin, Lavonte David, Shaq Barrett, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, Ndamukong Suh and now Brown. They even added running back Giovani Bernard.

Folks, that is absurd.

Yes, at some point Tom Brady is going to slow down. That could even happen this year, but there's no reason to assume it will at this point. Therefore, Tampa Bay -- and the Kansas City Chiefs -- should be the frontrunners to win Super Bowl LVI.
