Bill Belichick's Girlfriend Claps Back At Instagram Commenter

The Tom Brady-New England Patriots marriage ended back during the offseason. Brady ended up with a new team in Tampa Bay, while New England moved on to Cam Newton as its franchise quarterback.

It hasn't even been a year yet, but so far, it's looking like Brady won the divorce. The Patriots finished 7-9.

Newton averaged only 177.1 yards passing, threw 10 interceptions and only eight touchdowns. Yes, he also had 592 yards on the ground with 12 rushing touchdowns, but compare that to the Buccaneers. They're only one game away from a Super Bowl.

We don't know -- and probably won't ever know -- how head coach Bill Belichick feels about those two things. But we do know, however, exactly how Belichick's girlfriend, Linda Holliday, feels about it.

On Tuesday, a commenter on Instagram made this statement underneath a post she made about Belichick: "Too bad Bill let Tom go!"

Ruh roh, Raggy. Apparently, that wasn't the move -- or at least it wasn't according to Holliday.

She responded with this: "and you have all the answers evidently? Tom didn’t score last night … not once! Defense won that game. Were you even watching? OTOH- I’m happy for Tom’s career! Why can’t you be?"

There's a lot to unpack there. But as Dov Kleiman pointed out on Twitter, Holliday is ... wrong. Yes, Brady struggled, but he was definitely on the giving end of two touchdown passes. Those are technically considered scores.

He also rushed for a touchdown, so ...

I'm sure Belichick absolutely loved the elaborate response, though. It definitely seems like the informative type of answer he would have given in a press conference, right?
