Arian Foster Is The Biggest Brady Hater Ever
Former NFL running back Arian Foster has some entertaining takes, but this time he's coming after Tom Brady. He probably should have realized that Brady is untouchable and left this opinion in the drafts. Unfortunately, the wine got to his head:
Here's the worst of them all:
"10 plays away from zero rings," huh? I guess that's technically true, but isn't that how sports operate? What ifs are fun to talk about, yet they're a waste of time because they have nothing to do with reality. Calling someone lucky is a cop out for people or players who lack accountability for their own lives.
"Lucky af," Foster wrote.
We're fully aware that plenty fans think Tom Brady's greatest attribute is luck, but you don't get lucky seven times. History can change on a bad bounce on any given season, but we shouldn't pretend one player is getting lucky with regularity. There's no such thing as consistent luck, especially since it also breaks the other way. If David Tyree didn't catch a ball on his helmet, the Patriots' perfect season would have lived and Brady would've had another ring. But Tyree did catch it, so Brady went home a loser that year.
Arian Foster is jealous that Tom Brady soaks in the benefits of working harder than any other athlete ever. No one wants to admit they got outworked.
Hang in there, Arian. Tom Brady should be done in the next couple years. Guess we'll see if his luck runs out.
