AJ Brown Ready To Drop No. 11 If Titans Go After Julio Jones

If an NFL player is changing numbers this offseason, it's probably because of the new rule change that now allows guys to wear numbers in the single digits. AJ Brown, the Tennessee Titans star wide receiver, is willing to make a change for a different reason though.

Brown sent a tweet out on Wednesday discussing the possibility of bringing Julio Jones to Tennessee. The Atlanta Falcons are taking calls on the longtime receiver, and the Titans are a potential destination.

"I would give up #11 if this happens," Brown tweeted. "Playing alongside my idol would be crazy. No team is stopping this!!!"

The combination of Brown and Jones would be fantastic, especially with running back Derrick Henry taking most of the attention away from the passing game. If you're Ryan Tannehill, you also have to love that idea.

Corey Davis is a solid No. 2 receiver, but even at 32 years old, Jones is still the superior talent.

Over the course of his 10-year career, the Alabama product has averaged 84.8 receptions, 1,290 yards and six touchdowns. Jones played in only nine games last season due to injuries, but he still put up respectable numbers: 51 catches for 771 yards and three scores.

Will a trade happen? Probably not, but we now know Brown is willing to go the extra mile to get his idol to Tennessee.
