Adrian Peterson's Still Trying To Sell His Texas House
Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson just can't find anyone to take his Woodlands, Texas house off his hands. 'All Day' is even willing to take a $500,000 loss on his massive 10,582 sq. ft. behemoth that features seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. That amount of bathrooms is crazy, but it's even crazier this house has been on the market for FOUR YEARS!
AP bought the house for $5,050,000 in 2013 and had it on the market for $8,500,000 by 2016. The house has since gone through several asking price reductions and now has a $4,500,000 price tag.
From Peterson's realtor:
Opulent custom estate on nine wooded acres. Private, gated entry drive leads to this magnificent, beautifully detailed home with every custom feature imaginable. Meticulously designed, featuring large chef's kitchen, five fireplaces, two outdoor kitchens, two-story library, walk in wine cellar, guest quarters w/separate entrance & a beautiful master with spacious his & hers closets. Large bedrooms, upstairs & downstairs laundry rooms, full bar with game room & media room attached.
It's unclear why Adrian can't find a buyer for this house that has pretty much everything a rich guy's looking for in suburban Houston. True, the gas and oil industry tanking hasn't been good for the market, but you'd think someone out there would love to take this off Peterson's hands at a reduced price in a hot market.
One thing it definitely needs is some sort of pavilion over the swim-up bar. I'm thinking something like what Dak Prescott has at his house. Otherwise, Peterson's house looks ready to go if you're looking to buy and move your books into the library during football season.
Mortgage: $25,000 or so per month before the air conditioning bill.
