Sarah Fuller's Uniform Is Inducted Into College Football Hall Of Fame

The football uniform and helmet Sarah Fuller wore when she kicked off for Vanderbilt to start the second half of a game against Missouri now resides in the College Football Hall of Fame. It's the same jersey Fuller wore as she gave the winless team a halftime speech before ever stepping foot on the field to make history.

"Congrats Sarah and thank you for entrusting us with the safe keeping of this rich piece of history!," the College Football Hall of Fame tweeted making the big announcement.

Fuller went on to drill two extra points in a December 12 game against Tennessee before her college football career came to an end as Vanderbilt was eliminated from bowl contention with a 0-9 record.

“It looks like my time as a football player has come to an end,” Fuller wrote this week on Twitter. “I would like to thank personally the entire Vanderbilt football team, coaches and support staff for this amazing opportunity to be a part of this program.

“I was accepted as an athlete and a true member of this team. This is an experience that I will never forget and will cherish forever. Good luck to the seniors and staff who are moving on to new adventures. Best wishes to the team as this program moves forward and continues to grow.”
