Las Vegas Raiders Are Making Their Pitch For Jim Harbaugh
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh led the Wolverines to a 12-2 record and the program's first Big Ten title in 17 years, and his successes might land him back in the NFL.
Harbaugh previously coached the quarterbacks of the 2002 and 2003 Oakland Raiders and then served as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2014 before joining the Michigan crew.
OutKick's Nick Geddes reported earlier this week that the 58-year-old could be tempted to return to the NFL to coach the Raiders. The rumors of Harbaugh heading back to the league picked up some steam after he admitted he may be headed for the pros.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that Harbaugh has emerged as a name to watch in the coaching searches for teams with head coaching vacancies.
The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the teams expected to have some interest in Harbaugh after spending the majority of their season operating under interim head coach Rich Bisaccia and can win their way into the postseason Sunday night against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Where do you think Harbaugh will end up?
