Lane Kiffin Responds to Accusations of Ole Miss Knowing Signals

Lane Kiffin had Nick Saban's number on Saturday night in Oxford. Despite losing the game 63-48, the Ole Miss offense saw a ton of success against a struggling Alabama defense.

That success has led to a lot of questions on the how. What helped give Kiffin and company that much of a leg-up on Saban's defense? Well, the Alabama head coach, and at least one player in Dylan Moses, have speculated that the Rebels knew the Tide's defensive signals.

It was a growing belief as of Sunday morning, and it got to a point where Kiffin took to Twitter to address the accusations.

For those who can't see the tweet, it reads:

⁩It's a fair point from Kiffin, but there are ways to utilize knowing signals without using it on every play. Alabama is responsible for Alabama's horrific night on defense, even if Kiffin helped give his team a slight advantage.

Is a rivalry brewing between the Crimson Tide and Ole Miss? For our sake, I hope so.
