Kevin Sumlin's Job in 'Serious Jeopardy'

Arizona got blown out 70-7 by in-state rival Arizona State on Friday night. Consequently, on Fox's Big Noon Kickoff Bruce Feldman reports that Sumlin's job is in "serious jeopardy":

"Going into this week sources told me he was going to be pushed to make some big changes on his staff, but after that 70-7 blowout last night, even that might not be enough," Feldman said. "The AD is also feeling a lot of pressure now. Now, Sumlin's buyout is over $7 million, which is obviously a lot of money, especially in a pandemic and especially at a place like Arizona. But, I'm told they would be able to rally to make that money and pay it to him if they feel like they really need to make a change."

After Arizona went 9-15 in Sumlin's first two years, they've gone 0-5 this season. Sumlin is 6-17 in the Pac-12 in three years. The pandemic is proving that nothing can halt the college football coaching carousel.
