Georgia Football Offense Is Struggggggling Against Arkansas
Georgia entered today's game against Arkansas favored by four touchdowns and enters halftime behind 7-5. The Bulldogs offense has been dismal.
D'Wan Mathis started for Georgia and played six series; five ended in punts and there was an interception in between. Mathis averaged 2.6 yards per attempt.
Stetson Bennett entered in for Mathis for the last two drives of the second half. Bennett did drive 53 yards to set up a field goal to conclude the half.
What a win this would be for Sam Pittman in his debut at Arkansas if the Razorbacks do pull this out. On the flip side, if that happens, Kirby Smart will get skewered for not having a better-prepared offense. We already saw Kansas State upset Oklahoma today; it'd be wild if this upset winds up happening.
At FanDuel, Georgia is favored to win by 8.5 points in live odds.
