Former NFL CB Antoine Cason Makes Pitch to Become Arizona's Next Coach

Antoine Cason is familiar with the Arizona Wildcats football program. The former NFL defensive back was a starring member of the team from 2004-07. Now, he's looking to become the next head coach.

Cason is now 34 years old and retired from the NFL.

He spent seven seasons in the league, mostly in San Diego. He also had stints with the Arizona Cardinals (2013), Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens (2014). In other words, if a team is looking for a cornerback, the man at least has some experience.

Head coaching experience? Not so much. Any coaching experience on any level? Yeah, still "no." But Cason has decided that doesn't matter. He's going to make his pitch anyways.

On Tuesday, Cason crafted an article that was released as a "guest opinion post" for Tucson.com. Here's a small excerpt from that article.
