Clemson Holding Pro Day On Thursday, Names to Know

The Clemson Tigers are holding their annual Pro Day on Thursday, March 11. In the absence of a standard NFL combine this year, these localized events have become even more important to the draft process.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET, and will be aired on the ACC Network.

In order to get you prepared, we put together a short list of names to know on Thursday. Surprisingly enough, there won't be any defensive players included. That's odd for a place like Clemson, but the offensive firepower provides enough intrigue.

Trevor Lawrence, Quarterback

Projection: Day 1 (No. 1 overall)

Lawrence has already held his Pro Day, so he will not be participating on Thursday. Considering he's a lock to go to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the top overall pick, he will still be a main talking point during the event.

Travis Etienne, Running Back

Projection: Day 1 (Round 1)

Etienne is widely considered one of the top 2 running backs in the 2021 draft class. He'll more than likely go after Alabama's Najee Harris, but it would be somewhat surprising to see him fall out of the first round come April. An electric playmaker as a runner and receiver.

Jackson Carman, Offensive Tackle

Projection: Day 2 (Round 2 or 3)

Carman is a massive (6-foot-5, 345 pounds) offensive line prospect. After spending his college career protecting Lawrence's blindside, it's possible that Carman makes a move inside to guard on the next level. Should be a nice addition for an offense with a power-blocking scheme.

Amari Rodgers, Wide Receiver

Projection: Day 3 (Round 4 or 5)

Rodgers is a Day 3 receiver who should provide an NFL team with a nice option in the slot. He isn't considered a big-play threat, but he can be a reliable chain-mover if given the opportunity. Yet another wide receiver prospect out of Clemson.
