Big Ten Changing Title Requirements Trending in Right Direction
The ongoing discussion around the Big Ten title requirements saw another step on Saturday. Brett McMurphy with Stadium tweeted out that conference athletic directors would "likely change" the six-game minimum requirement.
This is not earth-shattering news, but it does mean we are getting closer to Ohio State locking up a spot in Big Ten championship. And as McMurphy points out, a win in that game would "all but guarantee" the Buckeyes a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Things are only going to get more interesting from here.
What happens if Florida beats Alabama and Clemson gets a win in the Notre Dame rematch? Who gets left out? Like every season, the Playoff discussion is going to include controversy, hot takes and at least one frustrated team.
