Some quick notes:
1) The top five is unchanged from last week. Clemson-Notre Dame next week, with the Tigers playing without Trevor Lawrence, will be a good litmus test for the top five.
2) Oklahoma State, after getting upset by Texas at home, dropped from no. 6 to no. 14. Texas, as a result of the win, re-entered the top 25.
3) Cincinnati is going to start to be on the outskirts of College Football Playoff conversations if there continues to be turbulence in front of them.
4) Indiana, after taking care of Rutgers, jumped from no. 17 to no. 13.
5) How about Coastal Carolina and Marshall at no. 15 and no. 16, respectively.
6) This is finally the last week of no Pax-12. It'll be nice to evaluate Oregon, USC, and others from the conference.
