Shaq Announces He Would Rule 'Stifle Tower' Rudy Gobert

Shaquille O'Neal used to refer to himself as the "Most Dominant Ever," and apparently he still feels that way. In fact, when it comes to today's NBA centers, O'Neal seems to think he'd be even more dominant than the most dominant.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert was the latest victim of Shaq's disrespect, as O'Neal posted an Instagram picture that showed him dunking on Gobert. O'Neal claimed he would compile a massive 45 points and 16 rebounds in three quarters against Gobert, adding that "The Stifle Tower" would foul out with a measly 11 points and four rebounds.

Comically, Shaq added that he would also miss 10 free throws -- which shows you how easily he thinks he would manhandle Gobert.

Meanwhile, Gobert took the high road in his response. "Guess we'll never know," Gobert softly replied, using laughing emojis.

He later tweeted about the post.

"There is no beef. If people wanna keep speaking negatively about me or keep discrediting what i do it’s on them and all that does is show who they are," Gobert wrote. "I will always be happy for a brother beating the odds. And i’m gonna keep beating the odds."

Gobert stands 7-foot-1 and averages 14.5 points and 13.7 rebounds in the early season and continues to be viewed as one of the NBA's premier shot blockers. But when it comes to utter domination, Gobert doesn't compare to O'Neal in his prime.

Shaq clearly just wanted to send a subtle -- or loud -- reminder of that.
