Scott Foster Will Referee Game 6 of NBA Finals. Chris Paul Is Screwed

The chances of a Game 7 in the NBA Finals plummeted on Tuesday morning.

Why, you might ask? Is Chris Paul, Devin Booker or one of the other key players for the Phoenix Suns hurt? No, but the reason for pessimism might be even more justified.

It was announced that Scott Foster will be one of the referees for Tuesday night’s Game 6. And anyone who keeps up with NBA basketball knows that could be the final nail in the coffin for Chris Paul and Suns.

Tim Reynolds, an NBA writer for the Associated Press, was one of the first to announce the news via Twitter.










For whatever reason, Foster has been Paul’s kryptonite of late. According to Arash Markazi, Paul and his team have dropped the last 12 playoff games Foster has officiated for them. Of those 12 games, Paul’s squad was favored in eight of them.






Like I said, kryptonite.

Maybe Paul and the Suns can still force a Game 7 against the Bucks, but all the momentum, especially after this Foster news, is pointing Milwaukee’s way. I’m guessing the betting market will do the same.
