Nets Are Starting To Miss Un-Vaxxed Kyrie Irving

Kevin Durant was asked about the difference between the teams offense last season compared to the year after Wednesday's 106-93 loss to the Miami Heat and he admitted the team misses Kyrie Irving. The more this team loses, the more likely they are to cave to Irving's insistence on human rights.

"Yeah, we do miss Kyrie", Durant said after smirking and knowing where the media was steering the conversation. "It's just a matter of us knocking them down."

For those that've been watching the Nets on their path to a 2-3 record, James Harden's disappearance is almost more so an issue than Kyrie's dismissal. Sure, Irving would remedy their offensive woes, but Harden coming off two major hamstring injuries last year has made him relatively useless on the offensive end, leaving Durant on an island. And don't even get us started on the beard's attempts at defense post hamstring injury -- he was never good on that end to begin with. James Harden is practically a Dick's Sporting Goods manikin out there.

But this Nets collapse is the perfect storm for America and New York City as a whole. Their team voted to tell an unvaccinated Kyrie to stay home, just as many Americans have, instead of playing road games with the team, and now they aren't good enough to stay afloat. This situation should remind us all of Southwest Airlines thinking they could get away with sending employees unwilling to comply to a federal mandate home all to cancel 1,800 flights and then blame cancellations on the weather. They need us -- these companies need all us whether they want to admit that or not.

Unfortunately for the Nets, you can't blame the weather when you play indoors. Any American interested in their human rights should be rooting against the Nets right now. Their demise is a fast track to the team putting pressure on state officials to change rules void of science. It's possible Kyrie leads a statewide mandate tweak.
