Greg Olsen Thinks LeBron and Russell Westbrook Could Be NFL All-Pros, If He Coached Them

Former first-round tight end Greg Olsen was asked on Colin Cowherd's podcast about LeBron James playing football, and his answer was interesting to say the least. He claims LeBron and Russell Westbrook would be All-Pros with his coaching.

If true, can I take a flier? I figure NFL pays better than writing.

"If I could coach LeBron James for one year, I could make him an All-Pro wide receiver," Olsen said. "There's no question in my mind. I could turn Russell Westbrook into an All-Pro free safety."

Colin should ask him what he could do with Caitlyn Jenner next. The whole "could LeBron at six-foot-eight, 275 pounds dominate an NFL game" theory has been a topic for years now. And in the end, it's just a claim we'll never get a chance to see.

LeBron's a physical specimen who should be able to go anywhere he wants on any field. But does he have the physical toughness to play in today's NFL? I know plenty think he's soft, based on his play style in the NBA, but we have to keep in mind that LeBron "flops" because flopping is rewarded. Regardless of how we feel about LeBron's chances on Sundays--if Dak Prescott were throwing up a ball to LBJ in the red zone...we'd watch.
