Giannis Ecstatic After 'Dunking' For The First Time
Bucks megastar Giannis Antetokounmpo has been in the United States for only eight years, but he's already accomplished plenty -- two MVP awards, five All-Star nods, an NBA championship and more. Pretty impressive. Until you consider I accomplished the same on NBA Live 95 for SEGA in half the time...
Anyways, there's one big thing Giannis hadn't previously done until last night: dunk. As in Oreos.
The Greek Freak finally threw down some chocolate and cream goodness into a cold glass of milk. And the results were amazing.
"You won't believe me but a kid just told me to try dunking my Oreos in milk...mannnnn game changer," tweeted Giannis.
Maybe the only people more excited than Giannis about marrying his cookies and milk for the first time were Nabisco board members, as sleeves of Oreos were likely flying off shelves last night once Giannis incited a nationwide craving for the sweet treat.
It's tough to argue with Giannis on this one. Milk and Oreos are, as he calls it, a game changer indeed. They're like peanut butter and jelly or spaghetti and meatballs. Having one without the other would be like watching an Adam Sandler movie without a Kevin James appearance. Sure you'd watch and enjoy, but you'd know something was missing. The kind of something that could only enhance your pleasure. That's what milk is to Oreos.
If Antetokounmpo's impressed by the feeling associated with losing his milk and Oreos virginity, imagine the euphoria he'd experience using a Calbert Cheaney and Tom Gugliotta-led Washington Bullets squad to reach the pinnacle of NBA Live 95 success. Something I accomplished before I was old enough to shave.
Dunk on that, Freak.
