Bucks Set NBA Record For 3-Pointers In A Game In 47-Point Win Over Heat

Sunday the Milwaukee Bucks lost by 20 to the New York Knicks.

Tuesday night, the team came back with a vengeance.

With 29, Milwaukee set the single-game NBA record for 3-point field goals made in their 144-97 blowout win over the Miami Heat.

Not only was a record set for three-point shots, but Milwaukee's 47-point win also tied the record for the third-largest victory margin over a defending conference champion.

The only Bucks player not to hit a three in the huge win was reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored just nine points. It was his lowest point total in a game since Dec. 22, 2018, also against Miami.

The Bucks didn't need Antetokounmpo on this night, as they got 25 points from Khris Middleton, who hit four of the 29 record-setting three-point count.

Middleton is off to a huge start for Milwaukee, putting up 26.3 points per game in the first four games of the season.

The Bucks ended the win going 29-for-51 (56.9%) in threes, with Jrue Holiday hitting six of them, the most of anyone on the team.

The Heat are off to a 1-2 start on the young season after three games.
