Bradley Beal: People Shouldn't Be Pressured Into Taking Vaccine

Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal spent most of his team's media day defending his choice to remain unvaccinated. Beal wasn't able to participate with Team USA back in August after testing positive for covid and explained why he didn't feel pressured to vaccinate.

"I don't feel pressure, I don't think you can pressure anybody to making a decision about their body or what to put into their body," Beal said to NBC Sports Washington. "We can have this conversation about a lot of different topics besides vaccines, too. You can't necessarily force anybody, I think you kind of let people come into their own about it."

Beal later admitted he almost caved into getting vaccinated because of strict covid protocols from the NBA. Protocols that worsen for the average American on a weekly basis. At least we know we're not alone.

"I would like an explanation to people with vaccines, why are they still getting covid? If that's something we're supposed to highly be protected from, that's funny that it only reduces your chances of going to the hospital. It doesn't eliminate anyone from getting covid," Beal said.

Smart man.

Not because he came to the conclusion we support, but because he's asking questions. An athlete that statistically isn't in harms way whatsoever, who is supposedly only impacting his own battle with covid, is now expected to get jabbed without raising any questions as to how it's anyone else's business? None of this makes sense, meanwhile half of our media claims it's their job to pressure athletes like Bradley Beal because it'll impact his "availability".

If he can still contract the virus with or without the vaccine, how exactly would it impact his availability? Oh that's right, it doesn't. Look no further than when nine different vaccinated New York Yankees tested positive for covid and missed weeks of the season. Did anyone in the media ask questions as to what benefit was of being vaccinated those players had? Of course not, because they're paid to look the other way like the complete dunces they are. They acted like world class athletes were about to deal with serious cases of covid when we all know that's bologna.

Bradley Beal is a national hero. He's fighting the people that are supposed to be growing this sport: our sports media. Instead, he'll have to stay patient and level-headed to kill these media dweebs with kindness. They're trying to make him the villain, but today's showing was just too good.
