Ben Simmons And The Sixers Are A Circus Right Now

Earlier this morning, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Ben Simmons would not report for the opening of training camp and intends to never play for the Sixers again.

Simmons clearly wants nothing to do with the Sixers organization -- he's even taken this rift to his Instagram story.

The 3-time All-Star seems to be poking fun at the fact that the Sixers wanted to deal him for John Wall. That's a 31-year-old point guard coming off major knee and Achilles surgeries on a dismal contract. So Simmons is likely appalled that he won Defensive Player Of The Year last year and now he's in conversation to be traded in for an unwanted John Wall.

That's fair.

Ben Simmons hasn't spoken with anyone in the Philadelphia 76ers organization since August, so will GM Daryl Morey get a deal done before training camp? He's said the asking price was "steep", however a player going this public with his dismay for your franchise doesn't exactly leave management holding the cards. Ben Simmons may finally be on the move.
