Anthony Edwards Has No Idea Who Alex Rodriguez Is

In the event you maybe thought fame wasn't fleeting, well, consider the case of Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Anthony Edwards, the No. 1 overall pick in the most recent NBA draft.

Edwards had apparently never heard of baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, who is expected to become a major player in the Timberwolves' new ownership group.

Now, to be fair, Edwards said he's not an MLB fan. Plus, the rookie shooting guard was just 15 years old when Rodriguez retired after the 2016 season.

Then again, A-Rod is a 14-time All-Star and future member of the Hall of Fame. He is also engaged to Jennifer Lopez.

Wonder if Edwards has ever heard of her. Maybe, but maybe not, too.
