Oklahoma MMA Guy Who Destroyed Sooners Placeholder In Bar Fight Lawyers Up, GoFundMe Soars

Walker Brown, the MMA-trained, cauliflower eared guy who absolutely destroyed Oklahoma Sooners placeholder Spencer Jones in a February bar bathroom fight has not only lawyered up, he's had to raise his GoFundMe goals as people around the country continue to pump money into his legal defense slush fund for what figures to be a blockbuster fight with Jones' legal team in civil court.

Brown's original goal was to raise $30,000 in order to kick Jones' legal team's ass, but that number was bumped to $50,000 and his supporters went out and fired off $55,655 as of Friday morning. That's right, if Jones' legal team thought they'd haul Brown into court and kick his ass, they have another thing coming. This is going to be a war. 

Enter Steve Stice from Talley, Turner, Stice and Bertman, PC. Let's just say this isn't Steve's first rodeo, if you know what I mean.

"My client would first like to state how much he appreciates the overwhelming support he has received from friends, family, and complete strangers as he deals with the aftermath of the events of February 13, 2021," Stice stated on Brown's GoFundMe page. "As always, there is more to the story than what is depicted in the video. What is not shown is the original assault and battery suffered by Mr. Brown at the hands of Mr. Jones and his friend shortly before the captured footage. As can be seen, my client's nose and clothing were bloodied prior to the beginning of the video. Mr. Brown was legally justified in defending himself in this matter.

"As a result, Mr. Brown received several injuries including a torn bicep which will require surgery. We will not make any further comment until the conclusion of the investigation by the authorities."

The OU Daily is reporting Jones' tag-team partner in the brawl video is Andrew Magee, who played wide receiver for the Sooners in 2018. Magee is the one who yells "Look at me, b-tch," as things quickly escalate. Walker Brown's brother, Braden, manhandles Magee while Jones and Walker break off into some ground-and-pound.

No charges have been made by the Cleveland County District Attorney.
