White Sox Pitcher Lucas Giolito Calls Out Twins Josh Donaldson After Home Run

Chicago White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito and Minnesota Twins slugger Josh Donaldson likely won't be trading Christmas cards this year.

In the first inning of the Tuesday night White Sox win over the Twins, Donaldon hit a two-run homer off Giolito.

As the Twins slugger crossed home, he rubbed his hands together and yelled, "Not sticky anymore," as he made his way to the Twins dugout.

Donaldson was making reference to the sticky substance pitchers have allegedly been using this season, which MLB now checks for during games.

Giolito was well aware of what Donaldson said, and after the game, he spoke up about it.

"I saw it after the fact," Giolito said after the White Sox's 7-6 victory.

"He's a (expletive) pest. That's kind of a classless move. If you're going to talk (expletive), talk (expletive) to my face.

"Don't go across home plate and do all that, just come to me."

Giolito fired one last shot to Donaldson and the Twins.

"We won, the W is next to my name and they’re in last place.”

He has a good point. The White Sox are in first place in the AL Central at 46-32, while the Twins are sitting in fourth in the division at 33-44.
