White Sox' Carlos Rodón Throws No-Hitter Against The Cleveland Indians

White Sox flame-throwing starter Carlos Rodón just completed a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians that was nearly a perfect game. Rodón unfortunately lost perfection with one out in the ninth when he hit Indians catcher Roberto Perez with a slider.

Still, it was a monster performance from Carlos Rodon. Here's the final out:

The Chicago White Sox are starting to make a habit out of no-hitters. Ace starter Lucas Giolito threw one just last year, and long-time White Sox lefty Mark Buehrle threw two of his own, once in 2007 and once in 2009.

If you watched the final inning of tonight's game, you saw that Rodón still had extra juice on his heater. He repeatedly lit up the gun with 99 mph fastballs until he finally got it done.

And to no one's surprise, there was ANOTHER epic defensive play that saved the no-hitter. This time, it was from the glove of last year's AL MVP Jose Abreu:

No idea how these games always include a play like this, but it has to happen. It's science.
