Phillies Tickets Going For $250+ For Team's First Game 7 In 140 Years!

The Philadelphia Phillies are playing their first Game 7 of their 140-year existence tonight... and tickets aren't that expensive.

Right now, if you go to StubHub, a Standing Room Only ticket is going for anywhere from $225-$250. 400 Level seats are in that $250-$300 range as well. I expect these to be sold VERY soon so if you're reading this and are hesitant about going to the game - listen to Gunzy and go and purchase a ticket NOW.

By comparison, a single Philadelphia Eagles Standing Room Only ticket with the Cowboys coming to town in two weekends is going for nearly $400.

LIVE IN THE MOMENT!

Whenever I'm being interviewed about my broadcast and content career I'm always asked this question: What's your favorite sports moment or game you've seen?

My answer: Aaron f'n Boone's walk-off home run in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS to defeat the hated Boston Red Sox.

I distinctly remember being at a bar outside Yankee Stadium (not drinking of course because under 21?...) and the sound of that bat and just utter chaos. I'm talking beer flying everywhere, jumping up and down, people crowd surfing across the bar, shots everywhere (Once again, not drinking...) utter madness. At the time, I actually had a FRO... like Justin Timberlake massive curls, that was being praised and rubbed as if it was a lucky genie lamp before Boone hit that home run and solidified himself in Yankees glory (only for them to lose in the World Series to the Marlins).

So I'm telling you that if you're a Phillies fan, you have to scoop up these cheap(er) tickets while you can.

It's a Game 7 must-win for the Phillies. Bryce Harper and company have / had been ROLLING and are one of the sport's most exciting teams. You need to be in that stadium. You need to contribute to what's sure to be a chaotic atmosphere. Standing Room Only? Better than Standing... at a bar or sitting at home. Plus, you'll have a first-hand experience on that absolute mayhem that will be occurring afterwords if the Phillies win (grease those lamp posts!)

I mean just look at what happened last year when they won the NLCS to advanced to the World Series:

BUT MOST IMPORTNTLY...

Do we really want to see a Rangers - Diamondbacks World Series?

Absolutely not.

Let's get the Phillies in there and have them lose (because... Philly).

Regardless, whoever wins will face a Texas Rangers team who just defeated the Houston Astros in their own Game 7 last night in the ALCS.
