MLB To Allow 25% Capacity At Spring Training Games, No Fans At Team Workouts
According to MLB insider Bob Nightengale, Major League Baseball is expecting to allow 25% capacity at spring training games in Florida and Arizona. There's never been data that suggests this level of caution is necessary, but science has pretty much gone out the window at this point.
If you thought getting tickets to spring training was hard before, try grabbing a ticket now. Most baseball fans and Americans in general are desperate to attend any live event they can, so spring training is going to be a circus this year. There haven't been any details as to when tickets go on sale or how they'll decide who gets the tickets, but they'll be expensive. They will not be the spring training costs you're used to seeing at all.
Even so, we're glad baseball is getting closer to normalcy. Hopefully, we get back to full attendance for the big dance in October.
