MLB Proposes 154-Game Season With Full Pay, Expanded Playoffs, And A DH

MLB proposed Friday for a full 154-game schedule that includes expanded playoffs and a DH in both leagues, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.

This is fantastic news for the baseball community and while the deal hasn't been accepted, it's expected to get done. Didn't make much sense to watch pitchers hit in one league and not in the other either, so this is a win for everybody.

With spring training normally starting in mid-February, the delay to the season buys the league time to handle Covid protocols. For once, something gets done with Rob Manfred behind the wheel.
