Michael Conforto Leans Into Strike To Give Mets Walkoff Win
The New York Mets just walked off on the Marlins 3-2 after Michael Conforto was hit by a pitch -- that was a strike. It's unbelievable that this wasn't reversed:
When the Mets' home broadcast is this adamant about a blown call that directly won them a game, then something's wrong. Major League Baseball has a real problem on their hands, and it's not just moving All-Star Games for political reasons. Their umpiring crews are ruining four-hour baseball games and fans should demand change. Or maybe a refund?
At the very least, this call should result in a rule change so more can be done to remedy this ruling. Outside of Mets fans -- everyone's pissed. Expect the Marlins' manager Don Mattingly to contest the outcome of this game. Don't see how you can lose that?
